Inspired Web Design from Unison Agency

I am Director, Social Media, of Unison Agency, based in Historic Georgetown, Washington, DC, and proud to be part of such an innovative, creative, forward-thinking, and tech-capable branding firm such as this. In fact, before I met Robert Fardi and the Unison team, I wasn’t sure there were any creatives in DC — but there surely is, there surely are. Will I Still Find MUDs and MOOs Compelling?

Oasis 1024x548 Will I Still Find MUDs and MOOs Compelling?I just fired up my telnet client and I am seeing if MUDs and MOOs look exactly the same 2 decades later or if they’ve come a long way. Am I missing out by using a telnet client (PuTTY) or should I use a MUD client? I don’t even know how to start anymore — I don’t know if I can keep my attention on it long enough to even get the ball rolling now. Hello and welcome to The O.A.S.I.S. M.U.D. and then goodbye?

Godspeed to my first role model Senator Dan Inouye

Daniel Inouye 214x300 Godspeed to my first role model Senator Dan InouyeGodspeed and rest in peace, United States Senator Daniel K. Inouye. You were the reason why I chose Washington, DC, as my home.

I met you while I was in DC as part of the Close Up government study trip to Washington from my home state, Hawaii.

You met with us — me — and I was impressed and inspired by you.  And now you have passed and I pray for you and wish you well.

You will be missed.

Were it not for you and your seniority and US Senator, Hawaii would surely have been completely forgotten and ignored as the 50th state.

The US economy could thrive if we’d just learn economics

stefaniekelton The US economy could thrive if wed just learn economicsIf you want to know how badly we’re being manipulated now that the US is so “debt constrained” and “revenue constrained” — no, I’ll say it, lied to — be sure to listen to Dr. Stephanie Kelton, Associate Professor at University of Missouri Kansas City and a Research Associate at the Levy Institute in New York City, interviewed by Harry Shearer on his radio show and podcast, Le Show.  According to Dr. Kelton, everything we’re doing and intend to do economically, as led by Capitol Hill, Washington, and especially the GOP, is wrong and not good for our growth or for really and truly lowering our unemployment rate to as close to zero as possible. A travesty — truly, a shame. God bless Harry Shearer and his radio show and podcast, Le Show for getting the truth out there.
