I stayed at the Elk River Country Inn & Suites by Carlson a couple weeks ago while I was visiting the area for a wedding. The stay was pleasant and comfortable. Afterwards, I received a request to give them feedback, which I did. Then, out of the blue, I received this lovely note.

Doesn’t matter if it’s a form letter or whatnot, it’s still the sort of thing that distinguishes a quality business. I don’t know if this is something that all Carlson properties do for their guests or if this is Yoon Chi’s initiative — it doesn’t matter. I feel cared for, either way — and appreciated. Plus, if I am every in Elk Rover, Minnesota, again to stay, not only will I stay at the Country Inn & Suites, I will also be upgraded to a Suite.
