The other night I attended a lovely fundraising dinner, Miriam’s Kitchen’s first annual “Get the Dish” event. During the meal, Ashley Lawson, Development and Volunteer Manager, presented a video called 12,000 Stories, below, that you really need to see right away, especially if you’re wondering what I am on about when I tweet and blog all about Miriam’s Kitchen all the time.

Also, if you’re interested, please consider volunteering at the kitchen if you’re in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area; or, if you’re not local, you should surely contribute some money to the cause or donate in other ways because all donations go straight towards alleviating chronic homelessness in DC towards alleviating chronic homelessness in America.
