Some of you may be having a little trouble figuring out how to remove applications and games from your Facebook profile. They do have it a little buried, so I’ve made this video to walk you through it:

Hello, this is HowToPhil and today I’m going to show you how to remove applications and games from your Facebook profile. If you’re like me you may have granted access to several applications and games on Facebook, but have found over time that all of the messages, wall posts, and so forth from these applications and games become irritating, especially for those applications you no longer use and games you no longer play.
To begin the process you’ll have to be logged into Facebook.
Once logged in you’ll want to click on the drop down menu labeled “Account” in the upper right hand corner of the page and then, within that menu click on the “Privacy Settings” link. This will take you to the main Privacy Settings page on Facebook.
On this page locate and click on the “Edit your settings” link under “Apps and Websites” near the bottom of the page. This will take you to the general privacy settings page for Applications, Games, and Websites on Facebook.
On this page locate and click on the “Remove” link in the “Apps you use” section. This will bring you to a page listing all of the applications and games you have granted access to on Facebook.
Locate an application or game you would like to remove and then click the “X” to the right of the “Edit Settings” link for that application or game. A diaglog box will appear to verify that you actually wish to remove the application. Click on the “Remove” button in this dialog box if you would like to remove the application. A new dialog box will appear indicating that you have successfully removed the application. Click on the “Okay” button.
You may remove as many applications as you like in this way.

If you’re following these steps and it’s not working then you’ll need to contact Facebook support. Since this is the only way to remove an application.
